2022 Alumni Family Support – Trails Carolina

Trails Carolina is launching a new parent alumni support series. After spending months preparing Trails Carolina parents with new skills to support their child’s transition home, and continued practice and preparation, Trails is confident in their newfound education. Still, as Trails graduates reenter the home environment, there will be hurdles. This is why Trails Carolina offers continuing education opportunities for alumni families long after their child leaves the wilderness.
The new alumni support series is led by Trails Carolina Family Coaches/Therapists to address the needs of the alumni community during challenging points in the year. Along with academic advocacy for parents and students, there are three yoga and mindfulness classes already planned for 2022:
- Tips To Finishing The School Year Strong – March 2nd
- Keeping Engaged During The Summer – May 4th
- Creating Healthy Habits Around School – August 10th
- Presence Over Perception – November 2nd
“Our goal for families is to create an individualized experience across different activities to meet the needs of each individual member of the family as well as the goals for the family as a whole,” explained Trails Carolina Family Coach Erini Cantalini, MA, LPC.
The alumni support series complements the bi-monthly alumni support call that allow parents to re-engage with the Trails community and receive support from fellow alumni families.
