As part of the Confluence Team the Admissions Counselor is responsible for managing the admission of potential participants to Confluence. The Admissions Counselor serves as an initial point of contact for inquiries and educates and informs those families and potential participants about the program. They would also be collecting information and collateral regarding the clinical appropriateness of the applicants. The Admissions Counselor supports the efforts of the Outreach and Admissions Department by participating in some outreach projects and developing and maintaining referral relationships.

This position can be done remotely, with the expectation of being on-site as needed for tours, meetings, and other obligations as needed. 

Responsibilities

Seek and identify admission streams, pursue leads of prospective clients and referrers
Serve as a point of contact for participant inquiries, schedule phone interviews and follow-up calls
Build and maintain important participant, referral and clinical relationships
Establish and maintain professional relationships with other programs and providers
Travel (10-20% of time) for conferences, other programs, on site tours, and professional visits
Maintain and update CRM with inquiries, contacts and leads
Digital marketing: copy editing, email newsletter, website, blog, and social media creation/update
Plan and execute onsite program tours and events for referring professionals
Availability for service to associations of which Confluence is a member
After hours availability for calls/admissions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master Degree in related field
Minimum two years of relevant work experience
Treatment and/or direct care experience preferred
Established relationships with referring professionals or in geographic area preferred
Digital native, technologically savvy, content creator
Familiarity with private pay mental health treatment programs and industry
