Description

The Admissions Counselor position’s primary focus is the organization of all admissions communication, creating quick response times and streamlined communication with all referral sources and prospective families. Customer service, compassion, confidence, and professionalism is key.

Responsibilities

Admissions & Administrative Support:
Scheduling and conducting tours on campus or virtually, marketing support, managing the Admissions Team calendar and schedule, facilitating the enrollment of new students,
Attends and participates in Admissions / Marketing meetings as needed,
Communicating with educational consultants and referral sources,
Facilitate and document communication with families, Gateway’s internal team, and prior care therapist/placement, Sets up initial Parent Orientation Call
Supporting website updates and email/ social media marketing,
Planning and coordination of Marketing events
Ensuring paperwork is updated as needed
Supporting the screening process of new client applicants,
Primary point of contact for enrolling families,
Support and facilitate Gateway’s outcome studies (YOQ’s)
Support in the milieu / school as needed – May be asked to work residential shifts during slow admissions time.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (behavioral science and/or marketing preferred); or, two years’ experience working in the area  of adolescent residential treatment, public relations, marketing, administrative assistant, or admissions.  
Must possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.  
Strong executive functioning skills.
The ability to prioritize tasks.
Prior admissions and/or office administration work preferred.
Be at least 21 years old
Be able to pass a state background check.
Have a clean driving record
