Balance House Welcomes Claire McElroy, CSW to Their Clinical Team

Balance House is excited to welcome Claire McElroy, CSW to their Clinical team. Claire is from Mobile, Alabama and received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Alabama and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.
Claire has experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and mental health, couples, and families. Before earning her Master of Social Work, Claire gained invaluable experience working as a behavioral tech in a residential treatment center in the Utah Valley. She has a passion for helping her clients re-connect to their authentic selves as well as working with families to help them learn new, healthy ways to communicate and heal.
Claire brings her engaging spirit, dedication to her clientele and their families, and her own passion for recovery to the Balance House team. Claire notes that, “one of my favorite aspects of Balance House thus far is the collaborative approach between Clinical and Programming staff in working together, from all angles, to help young men build relationships, skills, and new lives for themselves.”
About Balance House
Balance House is a year-long continuum of care for young men ages 18-35 years old. We are located in Salt Lake City, Utah at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. Balance House offers four, distinct levels of care from residential treatment to independent, sober living. Residents of the program are offered a chance to explore the outdoors, and beauty that Utah has to offer, as well as to participate in group and evidence-based treatment modalities. Our treatment program is different by design. We offer a space in which young men can help make decisions about their treatment plans and goals as well as feel supported as they begin to realize what is important to them outside of the treatment setting.
