Beacon Transitions Is Thrilled To Announce New Community Partnerships

Beacon Transitions is excited to announce the formation of three distinct new partnerships with local service providers and organizations.
Neurofeedback is offered to all young adult clients by Jessica Zander M.S, LCMHC-A through Focus Centers of Asheville. With over four years experience as a Neurofeedback Therapist, Jessica’s work is a staple in the weekly routine. In addition to Neurofeedback, Jessica also provides cognitive assessments and clinical quantitative brain-mapping.
Individual Psychotherapy and Psychiatric services are provided to Beacon Residents at their team’s discretion through CBT Counseling Center, spearheaded by Aaron McGinley LCMHC. Aaron uses a holistic approach in his work and can often be seen doing sessions in the park with clients who prefer their therapy on the move. Additionally, Aaron teaches a clinically focused social skills class every week.
For Beacon clients who need additional support during the transition from living on campus to their own off-campus housing, Red Cedar Transitions offers clients one-on-one coaching, tailored to fit the needs of the individual. Red Cedar, founded by John Tobias LPC takes a collaborative approach to help clients develop resilience and the internal resources needed to thrive after graduating Beacon’s program. Through the community partnerships, Beacon Transitions forms a comprehensive safety net for young adults as they graduate through the program and forge ahead to take on life’s challenges, having developed the foundational skills necessary for Independent Living.
