Brightstone Transitions is grateful for the opportunity to continue its partnership with Mountain Education Charter High School. Serving multiple counties in Northeast Georgia, Mountain Education provides non-traditional learning opportunities to many Georgia residents, including many Brightstone clients seeking to earn their high school diploma or their GED certification.

“Working with Mountain Ed has paid so many dividends for our clients,” says Drew Decker, Director of Admissions. “Either working with their tutors at one of our residences or going on-site to their Hall County campus, Mountain Ed’s self-paced and online options have allowed our clients to accomplish their educational goals while continuing to work on their ADLs, gain employment, and strengthen their social networks.”

Many of Brightstone’s clients have earned their diplomas by working with Mountain Education. Most recently, two of Brightstone’s young men, Sean and Liam, accomplished their long-held goals of graduating from high school.

“I had the honor and privilege to work with both Sean and Liam as their case manager,” Drew commented. “There were many obstacles these guys had to overcome, but Mountain Ed’s flexible program and dedicated team helped them to achieve their goal.”

Brightstone Transitions is an individualized Young Adult Transitional Program located in Gainesville, Georgia. We are a community-integrated coaching and mentoring model that offers support for neurodiverse young men and women ages 18-30. Our motto, Independence through Application, allows each client to gain and apply the necessary skills and social acuity in real-time through an individualized, personal growth plan based on the level of need.
