Cascade Crest Transitions welcomes new Clinical Director, Dr. Jennifer DeFeo. Dr. Jennifer DeFeo, a native New Yorker, is a California-licensed psychologist, Distinguished Professor of Psychology, and recently relocated to Oregon to join the Cascade Crest Transitions team as their Clinical Director.

Dr. DeFeo has two Bachelor’s Degrees, graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (Marriage and Family Therapy) from Antioch University, Santa Barbara in 2002, and received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology, with a Health Track, from the California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant) in 2008.

Dr. DeFeo has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. DeFeo has spoken at over two hundred conferences both nationally and internationally (including Rome and Buenos Aires) and most recently traveled across the country, conducting seminars which focused on educating physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other professionals about psychopharmacology and other mental-health subjects, thus helping to bridge the gap between general medicine and psychology.

Dr. DeFeo has also been employed at multiple community-based agencies as a Program and Clinical Director, Department Chair in higher education, and Adjunct Faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s University and Oregon State University.

CCT offers continued therapeutic and academic support, sober environment, safe community, along with real life experiences.
