A life coach provides connection, firm boundaries, structure, and consistency. Your purpose is to help each student reach their goals in the most efficient, effective, and rewarding way possible; this is done through assessing, planning, training, and maintaining. A life coach is also a motivator, strategist, accountability partner, implementer, teacher and role model.

  • Provide a caring and structured environment for students to live and thrive in.
  • Will receive incoming students, whereupon a drug test and search for contraband will take place. Searches will regularly be conducted to maintain the safety of LSH students and housing.
  • Administer students’ medications. Enter into BlueStep when you give a med and have the student sign to acknowledge they received their med.
  • Help students create weekly goals and follow up daily.
  • Transport students to and from school on school days (M, T, Th, F).
  • Provide recreational activities for students on recreational days (W, Sat, Sun).
  • Plan and maintain a weekly schedule, menu, and house chores for the students.
  • Be responsible for the up-keeping, cleanliness, security, and maintenance of your living facility.
  • Write an email to your assigned students’ parents once a week.
  • Fill out and submit incident reports, when necessary, and as soon as possible.
  • Maintain certain certifications each year and attend weekly clinical and treatment team meetings.
  • Be familiar with and abide by all policies and procedures listed in company manuals.
  • Enforce and maintain personal boundary limits with students.
  • Love and have fun with your students.
  • Attend weekly staff and department training meetings.
  • As an employee, you are a representative of Live Strong House. As such, any behavior (whether on or off LSH premises), which contradicts company values and portrays LSH negatively, will be grounds for immediate termination.


  • Ability to pass a Federal Background Criminal Investigation and a drug screen.
  • PCS, CPR, first aid and food handler’s certification.
  • Valid Utah driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record and proof of current auto insurance. By law, you must maintain a safe, functioning vehicle with the proper number of seatbelts to transport students.
  • Knowledge of how to shop for, prepare, and cook healthy meals for and with students.
  • Love the outdoors, enjoy being active and having fun.
