Elements Wilderness Expands the Family Services Department

Elements Wilderness is delighted to announce the addition of Kaylie Corrigan, LCSW, to the Family Services Department. within the Elements program.
“We have been committed to expanding family services for a while now. When Dagney Strossner returned to us last fall, she was charged with focus to that program and building her team. This effort has proven key in furthering the development of and refining that program,” says Andrew Powell, owner, and CEO.
The robust family services program at Elements, dubbed the Family Element, is a parallel program during a loved one’s stay, designed to help the entire family system move into lifelong change and healing. This program includes five components created with the intention of enhancing healing, communication, and connection for the whole family. Powell continues, “At Elements, our growth is conditional to finding the right fit. We are very selective in adding team members who embody the talents and values trusted under Element’s brand. That said, Kaylie is a perfect fit for us.”
“I am thrilled to be part of the Elements team! Being one of the clinical facilitators of Family Focus workshops allows me to stay closely involved in the work that I am passionate about and flexibility to enjoy my off time,” states Corrigan.
The Elements Family Focus is a 2-night, 3-day family therapeutic intensive tailored to each family’s individual needs. Each participating family camps in the field area for their own private experience and works with a Family Focus team to identify the pressures within the system and start rebuilding their foundation. Family Focus is a time to draw more understanding and meaning out of the family system and connect on a deeper level.
