About The Goodale School & Recovery Community

Although every student at the Goodale School has a substance abuse diagnosis, that is only part of their story. This is a mission-driven non-profit therapeutic boarding school for boys, ages 14-18. Goodale requires parents to be part of their child’s journey. The boys enrolled are struggling with substance use and also may have co-occurring disorders like:

– Depression
– Anxiety
– ADHD
– Learning Differences
– Low motivation
– Executive Functioning challenges
– Parent-Child Relational Issues

Our students experience a real-life recovery model, with daily outings and community integration.

We combine comprehensive clinical support with an accredited academic program, family therapy, and a variety of health, wellness, and recreational activities to create an individualized recovery experience. We also have 12-step facilitation.

We exist to empower adolescent boys and their families to embrace recovery and to gain the skills needed to achieve their dreams.
