Equinox RTC Welcomes Humanities Teacher Ramsee Boone

Equinox is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the team, Ramsee Boone, an experienced and versatile educator dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering holistic development. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, Ramsee is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

“I am excited to be a part of Equinox and look forward to contributing to the growth and development of our students,” says Ramsee Boone, “Every student is unique, and I aim to nurture their individual talents while fostering a strong sense of community and well-being within our school.”

Ramsee comes to Equinox with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching that extends across various subjects, including social studies, language arts, and music. This unique blend of academic expertise and creative insight promises to enrich the educational experience of our students. She aims to meet students at their individual learning levels, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and encouraging personal growth. Beyond academics, Ramsee is deeply invested in students’ social and emotional well-being, striving to equip them with the essential skills to navigate life’s challenges confidently and resiliently.

Outside the classroom, Ramsee enjoys exploring the great outdoors, sharing her passion for music through singing and playing musical instruments, spending quality time with her beloved cats, and engaging in various artistic pursuits. Her diverse interests and hobbies reflect her commitment to holistic growth and creativity, values that align seamlessly with Equinox’s educational philosophy.

Equinox RTC is a trauma-informed residential treatment center for young men ages 14-18 who struggle with relational trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. The clinical team at Equinox specializes in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for long-lasting change. Equinox is located in Hendersonville, NC.
