Wise Roots Parenting specializes in effectively engaging parents of struggling teens and young adults in the therapeutic change process. We know that kids thrive in a thriving system, and that any change kids make in the course of their treatment will require flexibility, wisdom and growth on the part of the parents who welcome their kid back from treatment.
We engage parents through multiple channels of learning and support. Our coaches provide evidence-based tools and guidance to help parents provide strong leadership, clear and consistent expectations and boundaries, and warm, caring relationships with their kids. We’ve also developed a comprehensive on-line, on-demand curriculum for parents of kids in treatment. This 4-course, 62-lesson curriculum gives parents the tools and information they need to immediately shift their relationship with their kid from power struggles and chaos towards greater care and cooperation.
