Foundations Asheville Continues to Expand with New Therapist Natalie Weiner, LCMHCA, MCC

Foundations Asheville, a young adult transition program, is excited to announce the addition of Natalie Weiner LCMHCA, MCC to their clinical team. The program strives to continuously expand its ability to better serve its clients and families and excel in delivering top-quality resources and care for those struggling to make the leap into independent adulthood.
Weiner has an impressive background in counseling, from working in wilderness and community-based therapy settings in Scotland and the North Carolina mountains. She has worked in the outpatient as well as residential treatment side of therapy giving her a wider perspective with which to help young adults. She brings with her a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from UNC Greensboro.
Weiner’s passion lies in working with teens and young adult clients exploring trauma, identity exploration/LGBTQ+, transitions, boundary setting, anxiety, and depression. She is strengths-focused and works to create a safe space for her students to grow. Her goal is to have students step out of their comfort zones and try new skills while cultivating a personal identity and life they find fulfilling.
“We are beyond excited to keep growing our diverse staff with Natalie Weiner,” said Adam Ray, Director of Programming at Foundations. “She will be a valuable asset in helping our students grow and realize their greater potential.”
