Description

Grove School (CT) is seeking full-time and part-time Licensed (or licensed eligible) Clinicians to work in a therapeutic boarding school.

 

This position involves individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy in a co-ed Residential Program on the CT shoreline. Clinicians work as part of a clinical team, including a psychiatrist or APRN along with educational, residential, and activities staff. Collaborative clinical work is an important aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group and family therapy
  • Providing individual, group and family therapy
  • Facilitate treatment groups and provide individual, group and family therapy
  • Provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and crisis intervention
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy
  • Provide weekly individual and group therapy sessions
  • Providing individual and family therapy leading behavioral health groups
  • Provide individual and family therapy, cognitive supportive therapy and crisis intervention services
  • Providing individual and group counseling
  • Monitor family progress with treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling
  • Attend both individual and group clinical supervision
  • Ensure that delivery of clinical treatment
  • Provide both community psychiatric support treatment (cpst) and individual mental health therapy services
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings
  • Develop and provide therapeutic group therapy, individual, and family therapy
  • Providing professional therapeutic counseling by facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Provide effective individual, group, and family counseling
  • Provide thorough psycho-education around trauma inform

Qualifications

Candidates need to be licensed or licensed eligible in Connecticut and have experience with adolescents and families.

Background and training in DBT, CBT, or EMDR is helpful.

Experience with adolescents who live with anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning, and other emotional issues is also an important factor.
