Description

As featured in the New York Times, The Mountain Valley Treatment Center is the leading residential short-term treatment program in the country for adolescents who struggle with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related disorders. We provide a great workplace, especially for those who want to change lives, have fun, and grow professionally as part of a world-class interdisciplinary treatment team.

Located in Plainfield, NH, on the Connecticut River, our campus—a former five-star inn—is a warm, comforting, homelike place where adolescents can safely overcome their struggles with anxiety and reengage life. We utilize the latest evidence-based practices—including ERP and CBT—and provides short term care for clients from all over the world. Our clinical work is complemented by therapeutic recreation and mentoring from our residential counselors and occupational therapists. This comprehensive approach helps young people heal, rediscover their gifts, and engage life with renewed zest and confidence.

Our therapists work as part of a supportive treatment team that includes a Clinical Director, psychotherapists, psychiatrist, occupational therapists, residential counselors and nurses. This supportive, interdisciplinary team approach is an excellent way to build clinical skills and expertise. For those pursuing licensure, we provide free clinical supervision and excellent specialty training.
