Dr. Jacobson brings a wealth of expertise to his role, spearheading the development, implementation, and oversight of cutting-edge clinical programs at Key Healthcare’s dual diagnosis treatment program.
Dr. David is a Los Angeles native, who boasts a distinguished 14-year tenure as a Therapist and Clinical Director specializing in Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Use. Following a notable career in the entertainment industry, he pursued advanced education, earning degrees from UC Santa Barbara and Cal State University, Long Beach.
His academic journey culminated in a Doctorate with a specialization in Psychodynamic Child Psychology and Psychotherapy at the prestigious Reiss Davis Graduate Center – an internationally acclaimed institution renowned for its expertise in psychodynamic treatment for children, youth, and families. David completed rigorous Post-Masters clinical training at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, further solidifying his clinical acumen. Currently immersed in a Post-Doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology, Dr. David serves as a contributing therapist and training child psychoanalyst at the esteemed Vista Del Mar Autism Center in West Los Angeles. Additionally, he holds a pivotal role as an instructor for UCLA’s distinguished drug and alcohol counselor training program.
