Lilley Consulting Takes “International Podcast Day” and Makes a Month of It

Instead of celebrating International Podcast Day on September 30th, Joanna Lilley, of Lilley Consulting, and host of the Success is Subjective Podcast, opted to expand to celebrating September as “International Podcast Month.” During the month of September, listeners can catch a new episode each day of the work week throughout the entire month.
The creation of the Success is Subjective podcast started years before the first episode launched on February 3, 2020. In fact, in really started back in 2003 as Joanna started her own post-secondary journey. When asking Joanna about the premise behind the series, she said “this is everyone’s story. Most people didn’t go through their emerging adult years unscathed. A lot of people took breaks during college, or just didn’t go to college at all. I wanted to highlight that. That is a normal experience. As a society we put so much pressure on young adults to be ‘successful,’ yet success is so nebulous.”
This podcast was designed to reach the audience of young adults themselves, just as much as the parents of young adults. If anyone you know is contemplating what to do after high school, to potentially step away from college mid-study, or really struggling to find their path after earning a degree, you can find at least one episode on Success is Subjective that may bring hope, guidance, and relief. Life is not linear, and now that we’re living through a pandemic, what future success looks like is now even more ambiguous.
Episode 78 will kick off the series on September 1 for this self-proclaimed International Podcast Month. Anyone can find the published episodes on all podcast playing platforms (Amazon, Apple, Audile, Google, iHeart Radio, Spotify, Stitcher, and TuneIn Radio). You can also find each episode on the Lilley Consulting website.
About Lilley Consulting
Since 2016, Lilley Consulting has been helping families and young adults find treatment options during a time of transition or crisis. Joanna dedicates herself to working solely with emerging adults who unravel before going to college, when they land on a college campus, or right after college graduation. Young Adulthood can be messy, but it doesn’t have to be if you find the best treatment resources at the time that you need them.
