Mental Health Clinician | Petaluma, CA
Come join us! Pacific Pathways is an awesome place to work!
It’s a residential treatment program for young adults with primary mental health challenges. We use a core set of evidence-based therapies including DBT, EMDR, ERP and CBT, delivered in an innovative, experiential manner that fosters refinement and development of your therapeutic repertoire of skills. Pacific Pathways has benefit corporation status and is becoming a certified B-Corp, which signifies a strong commitment to sustainability, social justice, and environmental management; and Pacific Pathways engages our clients in outdoor activities which bring them closer to the natural beauty of Northern California.
You should have a strong background in client-centered, strengths-based, and evidence-based treatments and be passionate about treating clients with pronounced emotion regulation difficulties. Prior experience with empirically-supported trauma treatment is highly valued. Priority to California licensed mental health professionals. Supervision toward clinical licensure is included.
Clinicians who have already completed intensive DBT training, as well as those who are willing to become intensively trained, are encouraged to apply. Individuals who have not previously completed an intensive (minimum of 5-day foundational training through Behavioral Tech or other gold-standard trainers) will be offered the training as part of their employment.
We welcome applications from licensed professionals as well as recently graduated clinicians working towards licensure with strong credentials. Associates social work or counseling license preferred. Competitive salaries, vacation plus sick leave and holidays, medical and dental, and generous professional training and continuing education. Please send your resumé… and our Director will be in touch with you rapidly!
