Montana Academy Students Receive COVID Vaccine

As the Spring arrives in Northwest Montana, the staff at Montana Academy are getting excited and looking forward to returning to host some more traditional events and happenings at the academy.
The staff and students have been fortunate that the normal day-to-day routine has not really broken stride in the last year, as students have still enjoyed in person classes as well as all of the other activities the daily routine brings. Typically the arrival of Spring in Montana also brings with it dozens of visits not only from prospective families but also from professional colleagues, referral sources, and, at times, other industry professionals who decide to stop by as they pass through, either visiting Glacier National Park or other sites unique to the Northwest.
In order to best prepare for this busier season, two significant events are taking place as you read this article; one is that Montana Academy is excited to formally open its doors again for these site visits and, two, the Academy is now able and set to have current students over the age of 16 that wish to, head into town to receive their COVID vaccines.
Current families of students have already begun to fill out vaccine permission forms and the first group of students will be heading into town for their first round of vaccine doses this week. After their first dose, these students will also make the trip again in about three weeks in order to receive their second dose. In looking at future enrollments, Montana Academy will base further vaccination scheduling on potential need, demand, and continued availability in the area.
If you are a colleague, referral source or are just passing through and interested in visiting staff or a past student that you’ve worked with, please reach out to Dave Chiarito, Director of Outreach for scheduling and Happy Spring from Montana Academy!
