Janelle Ayala joins the amazing team at New Focus Academy as their new Director of Admissions. Throughout her life and career in the industry, Janelle has enjoyed working with youth, and she has a passion for witnessing the growth of both the student and their family systems. She is delighted to be working with the New Focus Team and looks forward to supporting teens in finding their independence.
“We are very excited with the addition of Janelle, she’ll bring dedication and heart to the team,” said Dr. Brandon Park, Co-Founder and Executive Director of New Focus Academy.
Janelle obtained her degree in Recreational Therapy and has worked for years in youth treatment settings. She has owned a small business which gives her extensive experience managing and organizing business operations, and she is a skilled problem-solver. Janelle also finds joy in building relationships and in assisting those around her. These qualities, and so many others, make her a fabulous fit for director of admissions and New Focus Academy is truly lucky to have her on their team. When not working, she is spending time with her husband, cheering on her two children at sporting events, enjoying the great outdoors, or binge-watching one of her favorite television shows.
