Pure Life Adventure: Addressing the "Failure to Launch" Phenomenon

Pure Life Combines Clinical Excellence with Adventure Therapy to Combat "Failure to Launch" Among Young Adults

As the middle of summer approaches, many young adults and their parents are concerned about what this fall could look like for their student. For those dealing with low motivation, anxiety, or executive functioning deficits, Pure Life Adventure provides a necessary "therapeutic reset."

Our gap semester integrates outdoor adventure with clinical support, helping students build the resilience needed for long-term success. Unlike traditional gap years, we offer a structured environment where students learn to navigate life's challenges with confidence. For a young person “failing to launch” into adulthood, Pure Life bridges the gap between being at home and the next stage.

Program Highlights:

  • Clinical Excellence: Specialized support for emotional and behavioral growth.

  • Life Skills: Focus on executive functioning, healthy routines, and building usable skills.

  • Adventure Therapy: High-impact experiences such as surfing, whitewater rafting, and cultural immersion.

  • Academic Integration: Opportunities to earn high school or college credits.

With a 3-to-1 staff-to-participant ratio, the 60- to 90-day programs ensure personalized, safe care. For additional information, please visit www.purelifeadventure.com or call (801) 896-9490.
