Aerie Healthcare is proud to announce the full operational launch of its second New Hampshire location in Newington. Open for three months, the facility now has its complete multidisciplinary treatment team in place and is ready to expand its capacity to serve families in the region.
Founded in 2024 in Concord, NH, Aerie Healthcare established a reputation for quality and addressed the critical need for adolescent therapeutic care. Its Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) were the first NH-based adolescent PHP/IOP to achieve Joint Commission Accreditation.
“We have received consistent feedback from our referring professionals that the Aerie program and services are greatly needed in the northern seacoast area of New Hampshire. We are thrilled that we found an ideal facility in Newington that is conveniently located to increase accessibility for families in NH and ME in need,” said Co-CEO and Founder, Mik Oyler. "We are equally as excited to have been able to build such a skilled and passionate team to maintain our high standard of care and comprehensive services to help our participants and families.”
The new location is conveniently situated close to Rte. 16 and 95 at 2299 Woodbury Ave. in Newington, NH. Aerie serves ages 12-18 of all genders and maintains intentionally small program sizes, with a capacity of 12 in the PHP and 6 in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which serves as a step-down for PHP participants. Aerie’s comprehensive PHP model includes individual, group, and family therapy, medication management, academic support, and community engagement activities.
About Aerie Healthcare:
Aerie Healthcare’s day treatment programs, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services, are tailored to help adolescents and their families thrive within the support of their homes and communities. Aerie PHP participants engage in structured therapeutic activities during the day, receiving specialized care for mental health challenges, while returning home in the evenings. This program provides a higher level of support than traditional individual therapy and lower than inpatient or residential treatment. Aerie IOP delivers focused therapeutic support to participants during after-school hours. The IOP provides a middle ground between periodically seeing an outpatient therapist and the PHP level of care.
Aerie Healthcare is in-network with major providers, including Anthem/BCBS, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, UnitedHealthcare, Martin’s Point, Aetna, and Ambetter Marketplace. The referral process is the same for both locations: email info@aeriehealthcare.com, call 603-451-2371, or complete a website inquiry form at aeriehealthcare.com.
