At Red Mountain Sedona, client-centered care extends beyond the therapy couch and into the practical competencies required for long-term independence. Clinical Director Faith Martin’s Golden Rule framework ensures that interventions remain grounded in what best supports each individual’s growth. This philosophy is reflected in the work of Red Mountain Sedona’s case managers, who help young adults translate therapeutic insight into measurable, real-world development.
Case management emphasizes daily living skills, vocational readiness, and preparation for independent adulthood. Young adults receive individualized support with resume development, job searches, interview preparation, and employment placement. Skill-building also includes cooking instruction, budgeting and financial literacy, time management, and executive functioning support. Graduation planning and transitional assistance are incorporated to help each individual move intentionally toward the next phase of life. Expectations are clearly defined, progress is monitored, and accountability is reinforced through collaboration across clinical, residential, and vocational settings.
Program Director Matt George, who supervises the case management team, describes the scope of this work: “Case management at Red Mountain Sedona is structured, individualized, and fully integrated with the client's direct care team. We align therapeutic priorities with practical expectations in employment, daily living, and community engagement. Accountability is consistent across departments, and measurable benchmarks ensure that growth in treatment translates into functional independence.”
This coordinated structure reflects Red Mountain Sedona’s case conceptualization model, which identifies presenting concerns, patterns, strengths, and protective factors to guide treatment direction and anticipate barriers. Development also extends to fun recreational initiatives, including community pickleball and weekly mountain biking trips, reinforcing teamwork, communication, and healthy social engagement. By integrating clinical insight with applied skill development and community-building experiences, emotional growth and functional competence progress simultaneously. The objective is not simply program completion, but a confident transition into employment, community living, and increased responsibility.
Through collaboration among clinicians, case managers, and residential staff, Red Mountain Sedona maintains a consistent client-centered focus at every stage of care. This integrated approach fosters accountability, practical competence, and forward momentum as young adults prepare to launch into independent living.
