Cornerstones of Maine is proud to announce the opening of its new Residential Treatment Center (RTC). The RTC was founded to provide Cornerstone’s renowned mix of clinical excellence and community to young adults in crisis. Whether struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges, another negative coping mechanism, young adults ages 18 to 30 can take the first step to stabilization.
The 24/7 supportive environment at Cornerstones of Maine RTC bridges the gap between weekly therapy sessions and hospital-level care. Most clients will stay between 30 and 90 days, giving them time to stabilize, complete assessment, and develop a plan for treatment moving forward. That plan may include continuing on within the Cornerstones of Maine continuum at transitional living or receiving services elsewhere.

Cornerstones of Maine RTC's support and modalities include comprehensive assessment, individual and group therapy, family work, psychiatric support, CBT, DBT, executive function coaching, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and experiential therapy.
