Engage Young Adult Transitions has announced a partnership with Cogenuity, a neurocognitive services provider led by Dr. Ingrid Boveda, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and Co-Founder. As part of this collaboration, Engage has introduced integrated brain mapping and neurofeedback services for all young adults in its therapeutic community. This enhancement is now included in the community's all-inclusive tuition, reflecting Engage's commitment to clinically sophisticated, individualized care.
Dr. Boveda brings decades of experience in psychological testing and neurofeedback, is certified through BrainCore, and is also trained in the Othmer method. Her approach combines data-informed insight with a deep understanding of how neurophysiological patterns influence behavior, emotion regulation, and therapeutic responsiveness. Each young adult at Engage now receives a QEEG brain map and has the opportunity to participate in targeted neurofeedback sessions designed to support executive functioning, attention, mood regulation, and sleep.
The decision to include neurofeedback in standard services reflects Engage's belief that sustainable change is best supported by understanding the whole personneurologically, emotionally, and developmentally.
"Adding brain-based assessment and training enhances our ability to tailor care to each young adult's unique profile," said Dr. Jack Hinman, founder and admissions director at Engage. "It helps us meet them with more accuracy and adjust our approach based on objective feedback, not just behavior or symptoms."
