Engage Young Adult Transitions has expanded its vocational support with the new addition of Jason Rhodes as its Job Placement Specialist. This new role reflects Engage’s commitment to integrating real-world skill development into the therapeutic process, helping young adults build confidence, direction, and independence as they take steps toward employment and community engagement.
Jason brings extensive experience in career counseling and workforce readiness, along with deep connections to the Cedar City community. In addition to his role at Engage, he serves as a Career Advisor at Southwest Technical College, where he helps students develop job skills and secure meaningful work. At Engage, Jason works directly with young adults to refine résumés, practice interview skills, and navigate the early stages of employment. He also partners with Greenwood & Associates to review each client’s career assessment and guide them toward opportunities that align with their strengths and goals.
"It is a pleasure to work with Jason to help students at Engage identify a career direction and get them started," Dan Greenwood said. “He is very knowledgeable and extremely committed to helping them think about their interests, abilities, personality, and values, and matching them with careers that will help them become the people they hope to become. His connections to businesses in the community are invaluable to helping the students execute their action plans and get started down the path of fulfilling employment.”
