At Engage Young Adult Transitions, Case Managers are the bridge that connects insight to action. They play a central role in helping young adults make meaningful progress in connection, independence, and health through hands-on, individualized support. Their direct, day-to-day engagement gives them a clear understanding of how each young adult is functioning in real time.
Case Managers work directly with each young adult to access the full range of services at Engage -- therapy, neurofeedback, psychiatry, nutrition, academics, and vocational support -- while helping them strengthen executive functioning, follow through on goals, and build confidence in managing real-world responsibilities. They carry a focused caseload of 7 to 8 young adults, ensuring each person receives consistent, attuned support. This level of bandwidth allows Case Managers to coach, intervene, and redirect with meaningful frequency throughout the week.
Working closely with therapists and the broader treatment team, Case Managers ensure clear communication, informed parents, and care aligned with each young adult’s unique needs. Their consistent presence and coordination ensure that every client has the structure, accountability, and encouragement needed to turn therapeutic progress into real-life growth. This collaboration creates a level of continuity that strengthens engagement and increases the likelihood of program completion.

Engage Young Adult Transitions is a therapeutic community situated just steps away from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, and minutes from the surrounding mountains. Engage provides clinical support for young adults, ages 17 to 27, who are navigating challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, executive functioning, and avoidance. Engage’s clinically sophisticated team of clinicians is driven by a deep understanding of the developmental and clinical needs of young adults, particularly the relational and emotional challenges they face. Through consistent clinical support and life coaching, Engage helps young adults grow in connection, independence, and overall health.
