Timbertop's 2026 summer camp provided a vibrant and meaningful experience for twice-exceptional boys, bringing together adventure, nature, and intentional community living in ways that helped campers connect, grow, and thrive. Throughout the summer, campers reconnected with familiar friends, welcomed new peers, and settled into a daily camp rhythm through a wide range of enriching activities across campus. Swimming, fishing, basketball, soccer, disc golf, capture the flag, tabletop games, D&D sessions, animal visits, farm chores, and quiet moments along the waterfront all contributed to a summer marked by energy, laughter, and shared discovery.
Off-campus experiences expanded the campers' sense of possibility and accomplishment. Timbertop campers participated in outings to Animal Adventures, the pump track, Franklin Park Zoo, Activate in Boston, the movies, Chuckster's Family Fun Park, and Retro Knights Arcade. Larger adventures- including peninsula camping, Fourth of July Fireworks, whitewater rafting with ZOAR, a Rails to Trails bike trip, New Hampshire camping, and a Nova Scotia Road trip filled with ferry rides, fishing, and foraging- created opportunities for challenge, resilience, teamwork, and memorable achievement.
What made the 2026 Timbertop experience especially impactful was the thoughtful support that surrounded each camper. Staff approached the summer with patience, flexibility, and close attention to individual needs, helping each participant engage in ways that felt manageable, meaningful, and authentic. Whether a camper was ready to step confidently into a new adventure or needed time to observe, adjust, and build confidence, the Timbertop team provided steady encouragement and individualized care. As a result, campers felt safe, capable, included, and proud of what they accomplished together.
