Integrated Interventions is pleased to announce that Dr. Chrissy Summering, PhD, LCPC, has joined its clinical team as a Program Therapist. Integrated Interventions provides custom-fit, community-integrated support for young adults navigating the transition toward independence.
Dr. Summering brings over a decade of experience working with adolescents and young adults in high-acuity residential treatment settings. A Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Developmental Psychologist, she specializes in child and adolescent development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. She is trained in EMDR, CBT, Relational Somatics, and ACT, offering clients a range of evidence-based approaches to support healing and growth.
"My core focus is helping clients regulate their nervous system and discover tools that validate and normalize their experiences," says Dr. Summering. "I am passionate about empowering individuals to reclaim their voice, heal, and develop confidence in facing life's challenges."
Dr. Summering's academic background includes a PhD in Developmental Psychology: Child Adolescent Development from Walden University, along with multiple master's degrees spanning clinical mental health counseling, developmental psychology, and educational psychology. Her diverse training allows her to support clients with a holistic and relational lens.
