Jennifer Taylor, president of JET ED Consulting, announces that after almost a decade, she has introduced a new look to her logo and website. The consulting practice is also expanding its IEP and Special Education support and advocacy for its clients.

Jennifer reports that approximately 25%-30% of her residential placements involve some amount of school district money or direct offers of FAPE. “I have jumped into a current program placement for a family and been able to create a school-funded situation whether that means a secondary step or converting unilateral placements to district placements, “ Jennifer explained.  “While a byzantine and sometimes frustrating process, it is very possible to work with schools to support students who need residential options to access their education.”

Jennifer is a member of Council of Parent and Attorney Advocates (COPAA) and routinely attends conferences for special education. She is also a frequent speaker for parent groups, special education schools, and conferences.  Jennifer's law degree helps her navigate her practice with added expertise and experience. Although she does not have an active law license, she informs clients and is not practicing special education law. Therefore, she is obligated to refer out and routinely does so to special education lawyers when clients are seeking legal counsel.
