Its Co-Founder/CEO, Rick Barney, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, MBA and Medical Director and Executive Director of The Cove at Momentum Recovery, Gabrielle Neal-Barney, MMS, PA-C, CAQ-Psych presented to the group of Certified Intervention Professionals on "Redefining Success: An Attachment-Based Approach to Navigating Relapse."
The presentation focused on the non-linear nature of the recovery process for the young adults served in Momentum's young men's and women's programs. The goal was to provide professionals in the field with attachment-based responses to client regression. At Momentum Recovery, the focus is on identifying the client's success process as more than just abstinence from substances. This success includes developing meaningful relationships that ultimately impact client behavior.
The staff at Momentum Recovery were thrilled to represent the program at the National Conference and host members of AIS at the men's and women's campuses.
