New Program Black Pines Guides Young Men To Independence

Black Pines Life, an innovative independent living experience for young men ages 18–25, is proud to announce the official opening of its program. Designed for individuals who don’t require intensive clinical care but aren’t yet ready for full independence, Black Pines offers a structured, real-life environment that emphasizes mentorship, skill development, and personal growth. With the first two students already immersed in the program—working with mentors, participating in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, entering the workforce, and learning to cook—Black Pines is demonstrating its commitment to helping young adults thrive.

The program currently has two spots available and is actively seeking connections with families and professionals who know a young man who could benefit from this kind of environment. Unlike larger or more clinical programs, Black Pines caps enrollment at just four students at a time to ensure high-quality attention and authentic connections. Participants engage in life coaching, optional therapy, and immersive skill-building experiences that mirror real-world challenges—preparing them for a successful and independent future.

Located minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, Black Pines is ideally situated near public transit, gyms, and Utah’s legendary outdoors. For more information or to schedule a visit, interested parties are encouraged to call John Karren at 801-505-8481 or visit www.BlackPinesLife.com.
