TechieForLife Founder and Executive Director Jason Grygla, LCMHC, MA, and his wife, Certified Parent/Life Coach Debbie Grygla, are excited to announce the launch of the 'Parenting to Mentor' mini-course. This innovative program is designed to empower parents, grandparents, and teachers, and help professionals in nurturing deep connections with neurodivergent children, teens, or young adults. The live online course is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET.
Parenting to Mentor is a free 4-week course, with a bonus 5th session, aiming to provide a proven approach, tools, and strategies to enhance understanding and support the long-term development, potential, and emotional well-being of neurodivergent individuals. The course will delve into the NeuroDevelopmental Mentoring™️ (NDM) approach, which is founded on the latest neuroscience, developmental theory, attachment theory, and trauma-informed principles.
Participants will be guided through the three pillars of NDM and equipped with specific tools to initiate a successful mentoring journey. The NDM approach, developed and field-tested by Jason and Debbie Grygla, has been practiced with thousands of young people, mentors, parents, and professionals. The focus is on sustainable development rather than temporary behavioral compliance, ensuring a meaningful and lasting impact.
