The Ridge RTC program is excited to announce the appointment of Matthew A. Hart to the newly created position of Family Support Specialist at the Ridge residential mental health treatment program for teens in Milton, NH.
In this role, Matthew will offer much-needed guidance and support to families who are navigating unknown waters with their struggling children. Partnering closely with clinical and program staff at the Ridge, Matt will serve as an important resource to parents. Parents will receive dedicated parent coaching, preparing them for the next steps in their child’s treatment, while helping families make necessary changes and adjustments within the family system.
Matthew brings over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and their families in a variety of therapeutic and academic settings. He has served as CEO, Headmaster, Academic Director, Program Director, Teacher, Advisor, and Residential Staff member. He has also been a part of a well-known and respected educational consulting practice in the New England area.
Prior to joining The Ridge, Matthew served as the Director of Family Support and Programming for programs in the Midwest. There he designed and implemented family support systems and coaching practices for multiple programs and assisted in staff and program development.
