Rock Point School to Host Fall Open House on October 3, 2026

BURLINGTON, VT — September 9, 2026 — Rock Point School will welcome prospective students and families to its Fall Open House on Saturday, October 3, from 1–3 p.m. The event will offer an opportunity to explore the school’s 130-acre campus on Lake Champlain, meet members of the Rock Point community, and learn more about its approach to high school education.

As an independent, all-gender boarding and day school, Rock Point serves bright, creative students who benefit from a more personalized approach to learning. Small classes, relationship-based education, and experiential learning are central to the school’s program. “Families often know when a traditional school environment isn’t giving their student the opportunity to thrive, but they may not know what other possibilities are out there,” said Hans Manske, Director of Admissions at Rock Point School. “Our Open House is a chance to experience Rock Point firsthand—to walk the campus, talk with our students and staff, and see how a school built around knowing each student can make a difference.”

During the Open House, visitors can tour the campus, learn about Rock Point’s academic and residential programs, and connect with students and staff. The school’s setting provides opportunities for place-based learning and community-building beyond the classroom, with trails, gardens, an apiary, a sugarhouse, and other outdoor spaces across the Lake Champlain campus.

Families interested in attending the October 3rd Open House can learn more and RSVP at rockpointschool.org/open-houses.
