Second Nature Team Welcomes Andrick to Outreach & Admissions Team
We are pleased to announce that Julia Andrick has joined Second Nature as the Director of Business Development. She will also be supporting admissions and working directly with families. Julia brings a wealth of experience in the field of business development and admissions, having previously worked in various leadership roles within the therapeutic school and program field.
Andrick began working in the therapeutic school and program field in 2000. Nearly 18 of those years have been spent in nature-based therapeutic settings. Throughout her work, she has had the privilege of working with numerous families and witnessing the incredible impact that early intervention and assessment have on their children and the entire family system.
“We are confident that Julia's expertise and dedication will be invaluable in furthering our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care to families in need. Please join us in welcoming Julia to the team,” explained Co-Founder and Primary Therapist Devan Glissmeyer, Ph.D.
What sets Julia apart is her natural ability to connect with parents and address their concerns with genuine warmth and compassion. She truly understands the challenges they face because she has been through them herself. When her daughter was struggling, Julia wasted no time enrolling her in a nature-based therapeutic program, which turned out to be a life-changing experience.
"Over the years, Julia and I have often crossed paths at numerous conferences and events. Her extensive connections and vibrant energy never fail to impress me. It brings me immense joy to have the opportunity to have her join our Second Nature family,” said Clinical Director Steve DeBois, Ph.D.
