Solutions Parenting Support is excited to announce its newest colleague Dara Berger, MA, who will be leading the charge in the team's newest programming, Academic and Executive Functioning Coaching.

Academic and executive functioning support at Solutions includes strategic, topic-driven coaching sessions with the young person as well as parent coaching sessions with our parent coaches to allow for a successful integration when implementing tools into the home.

Dara has 30 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge, skills, and strategies to help a young person improve all aspects of executive functioning, behavior management, academic performance, and mindfulness. Additionally, Dara has years of experience in traditional academic coaching as a young person prepares for college.

While SPS continues to believe in the power and effectiveness of wilderness therapy and out-of-home support when it is deemed the healthiest path for a family, they hope that by bringing Dara onto the team, more young people can get ahead of their academic challenges, which can pose obstacles to mental, emotional, behavioral and social health, thus increasing their ability to live more healthfully at home.
