Sunrise Expands To All Genders And Insurance Options

Sunrise RTC is proud to meet the growing demand for inclusive mental healthcare services by welcoming all genders into its residential treatment program. Additionally, Sunrise is broadening its acceptance of various insurance coverages and school district funding options. Insurance plans are being pre-authorized and accepted on assignment, and Sunrise is listed on several state-approved school district funding lists, with notable success in securing single-case agreements.

While expanding inclusivity, the core profile of a Sunrise student remains consistent. The program continues to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to adolescents aged 13-17.5 who are struggling with issues such as suicidal thoughts and behaviors, self-harming behaviors, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and complex family systems. The average length of stay remains 8-12 months.

Sunrise remains committed to delivering exceptional residential therapy focused on data-driven outcomes and high-quality services. The program aims to foster a more diverse, inclusive, and safe healing environment for all.
