Wellspring Expands Medical and Family Support Services Through Strategic Healthcare and Telehealth Initiatives
Wellspring has announced two major program enhancements designed to strengthen continuity of care and increase family accessibility. Through a new partnership with Nutmeg Primary Care, a licensed medical provider now visits campus biweekly to deliver consistent on-site medical services. In addition, the organization has expanded its use of telehealth for family therapy, significantly reducing logistical barriers and increasing engagement for families across the country.
The on-site medical care partnership ensures timely access to routine health evaluations, coordination of care, and direct collaboration with Wellspring’s multidisciplinary clinical team. By bringing medical services directly to campus, students benefit from improved continuity, faster response to health needs, and a more integrated treatment experience. The expanded telehealth family therapy initiative allows families to participate meaningfully in treatment regardless of geographic distance, work schedules, or travel limitations, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to accessible, family-centered care.
“These initiatives represent our continued commitment to modernizing care while remaining deeply grounded in our relational and restorative philosophy,” said Pete Mumma, Chief Executive Officer of Wellspring and Arch Bridge School. “By strengthening on-campus medical support and increasing family access through telehealth, we are removing unnecessary barriers, improving clinical coordination, and ensuring that each student receives thoughtful, comprehensive, and compassionate care that supports long-term healing and success.”
