In response to the recent closure of Open Sky Wilderness Therapy in Durango, CO, three former employees have come together to continue the therapeutic family retreats that were so successful at Open Sky. Michael Sullivan has founded Willder Sage to continue serving families seeking therapeutic support and a connection to nature. Zofia Lemise and Sam Newberry join him, bringing their expertise and experience in therapy and wilderness guiding to the new venture.
Willder Sage’s therapeutic family retreats immerse families in the natural world, providing the ultimate healing environment. These retreats teach families assertive communication, emotional intelligence, and the joy of strong and thriving family ties. Willder Sage embraces the belief that nature reflects our highest potential and offers unconditional love. Through many years of experience in the mental health field and wilderness guiding, Willder Sage supports the development of reconnection and belonging to oneself, others, and the natural world.
