Wonder Expands to Houston, Bringing Innovative Coaching Support to Families

Wonder is proud to announce our expansion into the Houston area. This growth marks an important step in making Wonder’s creative, comprehensive, family support program more accessible to families seeking support beyond traditional therapy settings.

Wonder provides individualized coaching for young people and dedicated parent coaching with family counseling, ensuring that both the child and their caregivers are supported throughout the process. By working with both an individual coach and a parent coach, families experience a more connected, aligned, and sustainable path toward growth.

As the fourth largest city in the country and the most diverse community in the U.S., Houston represents both incredible opportunity and a growing need for accessible, culturally responsive mental health support. At the same time, young people here are facing increasing challenges with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, neurodiversity, attachment, and more, highlighting the urgency for more connected support systems. At Wonder, our goal is to step into that gap by meeting families where they are, supporting both teens and their parents through an integrated, real-world coaching approach that reflects the realities of their everyday lives.

“We have a strong connection to Houston as our long-term colleague and now Director of Outreach and Admissions, Helaine Sandler, lives in this beautiful city," said Willow Rubin/co-founder & Clinical Director. “We are not just relationship-based in our model; we are also passionate about building connections and celebrating the communities we serve. We are so excited about our team and look forward to supporting this thriving community.”
