The ViewPoint Center is thrilled to announce new change to its facilities. What was once the nursing station has been transformed into a common area. This new space provides a nurturing, safe environment for patients to enjoy on a daily basis. "This is an exciting development for all patients and staff. It's so nice to have an open space for everyone to feel at ease and engage in conversation," says Judith Jacques, M. Ed., Executive Director of the ViewPoint Center. "It's very important to us at ViewPoint to provide the most comforable, home-like facilities possible for patients."
The common area is a place for patients to come during their spare time to relax with friends. The psychiatric staff will have an opportunity to evaluate a patient's interactions with their peers in the milieu.
ViewPoint Center is located in Syracuse, UT and offers a diagnostic and assessment setting for clinically complex clients between the ages 12 - 17.5. The process is comprehensive, multi-disciplinary process that involves psychiatry, therapy, medical stabilization, strong milieu, academics and psychological testing to create a comprehensive assessment.
