Confluence Behavioral Health, a new program for young adults, opens in Vermont and announces a partnership with the Geisel School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth College. Confluence was created to address the challenges getting in the way of young adults successfully navigating the transition to adulthood. Confluence’s developmentally-specific treatment approach addresses the challenges experienced by young adults males today.
Located near Dartmouth College, Confluence is pleased to announce its partnership with the Geisel School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth College. Through its relationship with Geisel, Confluence offers comprehensive neuropsychological assessments services to participants and clinical consultations with nationally recognized leaders in the field of psychiatry, mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Confluence’s clinical approach combines an extraordinary residential setting with an outdoor behavioral healthcare model. The adventure-based, wilderness therapy program and the small working farm offer opportunities for positive experiences and introspection. Each activity is a challenging opportunity for self exploration supported by clinicians and mentors who help participants realize healthy change.
The Confluence clinical team and direct care staff work from the perspective that change occurs in and through relationships.
