Sunrise RTC is one of the few adolescent RTCs in the U.S. which fully integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into all aspects of our program. Sunrise actively uses DBT skills with its students in clinical work, as well as residential, academic and experiential programming. This high level of integration provides great opportunities for students to use their DBT skills in a variety of contexts both on campus and off.
DBT is often used to treat:
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Eating Disorders
- Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder
By making DBT an important part of every day, students are able to put these important skills into use. Sunrise continues to see lasting results from graduates as they integrate back into their local communities and families, bringing their DBT skills with them. But don't just take thier word for the benefits of DBT: listen to s current students and staff share what a fully integrated DBT program means to them in the newest video.
