Wayfinders Village, (http://wayfindersvillage.com/) is an innovative reputable treatment program is looking for counselors and clinicians to grow with theses programs. There are two different locations that are currently hiring, Greenbrier, WV and Elk, WA to serve adolescents and young adults. Wayfinders Village ties together the essential elements of ancient ritual and modern neuroscience, for deep healing through a two-phase program. Training on the model is included and will be done by experienced licensed clinical supervisors. Candidates must demonstrate virtuous role-modeling, compassionate rapport and a commitment to being fully engaged in a therapeutic community within nature. Wayfinders Village is positive psychology oriented and outcome driven.
Responsibilities and Duties
Counselors will coordinate with others in developing and implementing a personal growth plan for up to 12 people at a time, facilitating not only cognitive, but emotional growth. As a therapist, you will be assisting people to identify and reassign limiting beliefs in a way that increases their ability to give and receive love.
A Master’s Degree or Ph.D with an emphasis in the Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related Behavioral Healthcare field is required. Eligibility for or possession of an LSW, LCSW, LPC, MFT is preferred. Experience in working with family systems, adolescents, eco-therapy, addictions, and/or wilderness interventions. A wilderness therapy background is helpful but not required. Wayfinders Village will provide in-house training by excellent instructors in Neurolinguistics, brain spotting, critical thinking, and family therapy.
