Solstice West is excited to announce that they are celebrating their 9th year in operation. Solstice West opened their doors on April 1, 2008. During the years, they have been proud to welcome hundreds of students and families.
Solstice West was founded by Dan Stuart (current Executive Director), Keoni Anderson (current Addictions Program Director), and Kyle Gillett (former Solstice East Executive Director and Current Equinox Executive Director).
Here are some of the ways Solstice West differs from other treatment programs:
- Solstice West's approach to Experiential Therapy, which includes Adventure Therapy and students are off campus every Friday and Saturday, skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, cooking classes, community service and much more.
- Solstice West in depth approach to Equine Therapy, which includes standing appointments with each individual therapist each week for students to work on their issues with the horses. This also includes a Relationship/Logic training with each student while at Solstice, and free riding time.
- Solstice West's therapists are also highly trained in Trauma Informed care, including EMDR and Neuro Feedback.
- Solstice West provides a comprehensive Addictions program that involves pieces of 12 Steps, Smart Recovery and many other techniques-- all individualized for each student's needs.
They are so excited about their 9 years and look forward to many more.
