College Excel is thrilled to welcome Jaci Wamberg to their team of coaches. The role of Academic Coach holds a great deal of responsibility and requires a high level of knowledge and patience. After receiving a tremendous number of very experienced applicants, College Excel found that Jaci possessed the ideal level of education, experience, motivation, and compassion needed for the role of Academic Coach.
Having earned an M.A. in International Development from Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont, Jaci has always been drawn to the teaching profession. Most recently, Jaci has worked extensively in Gap Year education leading students around the world as an International Program Leader. In this work, Jaci was able to witness and be apart of the transformational changes and growth amongst her students, by cultivating spaces for her students to challenge themselves academically, socially and culturally. From all her work as a student and educator, Jaci can attest and continues to advocate for the critical importance of being exposed and immersed in experiential educational environments.
The team at College Excel is excited and grateful to have such a wonderful addition to their community of professionals.
