The 5th annual Therapeutic Consulting Association (TCA) Training is happening on February 24th and 25th in Salt Lake City, Utah. Therapeutic Consulting Association will again kick off the 2020 event Monday night the 24th, with six assessment and treatment programs that work with clinically complex clients. The format for this evening will be progressive round table discussions. Topics for this dinner event will include, how the "work" with clients is evolving and creating an open dialog with referring professionals, discussion on ethical communication and collaboration, trends these treatment programs are witnessing in their populations, clinical concerns, and how conference attendees can support the growing needs of the clinically complex clients from pre enrollment to completing treatment. "The dinner Monday night is slated to be a wonderful opportunity for referring professionals to connect with one another and to dig into tough topics on a deeper level." said Meg Lahey, MA, EdM conference committee co-chair.
The 25th will begin the full day training at the Alta Club in downtown Salt Lake City, The morning will be filled with an introduction to invitational interventions with Richard Curtis , LMHC of Breakthrough Interventions. The afternoon will be split between a training from board member, Virgil Stucker, MBA. Stucker has worked for 30 years with adults of all ages. His vast experience and expertise will be the focus of the afternoon. The closing will be the "fan favorite," a round table discussions about the business of the business. Topics like how to integrate the invitational intervention model, working with adults of all ages, or how to grow your practice. "We are excited for another year's event where referring professionals can come together and connect an an authentic way," said TCA board chair Jennifer Taylor.

The TCA was founded 2014, as a specialized association for Interventionists and Therapeutic Consultants that focused on professionals who spend a minimum of half of their professional time assisting families in finding local or out of the home treatment programs for their adolescent or young adult.
