Aspiro Welcomes Carla Shorts as Director of Client Relations

Category: Personnel Changes

Aspiro is excited to announce that Carla Shorts, LCMHC, has joined the team as the Director of Client Relations.  As a passionate advocate for both adventure and involvement of the whole family in the treatment process, Carla looks forward to helping expand the many ways that Aspiro serves both current and alumni students and their families.

With 15 years of experience working in therapeutic boarding schools and treatment programs, Carla is a wonderful addition to the Aspiro team. As a therapist, Carla devoted her early career to helping struggling families in various clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private practice, therapeutic boarding schools, and wilderness therapy. Prior to joining the team at Aspiro, Carla was the Marketing and Admissions Director at a highly regarded therapeutic boarding school.

Carla will be working closely with both Shannon Weaver, Director of Marketing and Outreach, and David Mayeski, Director of Family Services. In conjunction with them, she will provide additional support to current families and alumni by providing another touchpoint, facilitating support groups, planning regional family programming, and collaborating with the Aspiro team to enhance family and referral partner experiences.
