Aspiro Adventure is excited to announce Kenzie Larson, LCMHC as a Vantage Point part of the clinical team. Kenzie's passion for therapy started at Aspiro, where she previously worked as a Field Guide. After seeing the powerful transformations that Aspiro students experience, she wanted to further her career as a therapist and obtained her aster's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC). While completing her degree, Kenzie gained valuable experience working as a Clinical Assistant at Aspiro. Since earning her master's degree from Prescott College, Kenzie has worked with adolescents and young adults in various settings, including residential treatment centers and outpatient treatment facilities.

Kenzie often works with clients who are struggling socially and behaviorally and need help with executive functioning and self-regulation skills, and who may have a neurodiverse profile. Many of Kenzie's past clients have been depressed, anxious, experiencing grief and loss, trauma, family issues, and identity concerns. Her relational approach and supportive attitude helps clients feel comfortable opening up and sharing their struggles.   Kenzie said, "My therapeutic approach involves connecting, developing trust, and empowering my clients to take control of their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and harness them in a way that creates a foundation for lifelong success."

Kenzie believes in the power of adventure and likes to spend her free time outdoors either rock climbing, running, hiking, or biking.
